On Wednesday October 12th 2016, the Federal Government of Nigeria broke a deal with the dreaded terrorist organization Boko Haram to release some Chibok girls.
The deal was facilitated by two international organizations; International Committee of Red Cross and Swiss Government. The total number of those release were twenty one(21).
Though details of the deals was not disclosed, but inside sources are saying that top high profile Boko Haram prisoners was used in exchange. The deal has attracted international commendation to President Buhari lead administration.
The top campaigner for the release of Chibok girls in Nigeria (#Release Chibok girls#) Mrs Oby Ezekwesili release a statement saying "I can only weep right now, Buhari Thank you"
